These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://playdaily.org (the "Site") and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Daily ("Daily", "we", "us", or "our").
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Services, you confirm:
- You are at least 13 years old
- You agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- Your use complies with applicable laws
2. Account
Registration
You may register with email/password or Google OAuth.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your password secure
- Do not share your account
- Do not create multiple accounts
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms or for any reason. You may delete your account by contacting privacy@playdaily.org.
3. Subscription
Free Plan
Access to daily competitive puzzles.
Daily Pro
Subscription offering:
- Access to puzzle archive
Payment
- Processed by Stripe
- Billed monthly or annually in advance
- Automatically renews unless canceled
- Cancel anytime through account settings or Stripe billing portal
- Cancellation takes effect at end of billing period
Pricing
Prices are displayed on the Site. We may change prices with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Refunds
All sales are final. No refunds for partial periods, unused time, or dissatisfaction. Exceptions may be made as required by law.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or automation tools
- Cheat or manipulate leaderboards
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
- Share puzzle solutions during competitive periods
- Harass or abuse other users
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems
- Copy, distribute, or publicly display our content without permission
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, removal from leaderboards, or permanent ban without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
The Services, including puzzles, code, designs, and trademarks, are owned by Daily and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works.
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a royalty-free license to use them.

- Vercel: Hosting
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Accuracy of content or leaderboards
- Data preservation
You use the Services at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daily is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the past 12 months or $100 USD.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Daily from claims arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any laws.
10. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Canada.
Before filing a claim, contact privacy@playdaily.org to resolve informally.
Claims must be filed within one year.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
