Songless Multiplayer: Live Song Guessing Rooms

Songless Multiplayer is the live version of Songless: song guessing in online rooms of up to 50, everyone on the same clip at the same second, fastest right answer wins. Open a room and it is already mid-round, no host, no room code and no lobby to fill. Less audio pays more. No sign-up.

What makes Songless Multiplayer different

The rules, and the questions people ask.

How to play Songless Multiplayer

  1. 1Pick a room from the list, or press Create a game to make your own. Nothing to set up and nobody to wait for: the room is already mid-song.
  2. 2Wait for the count-in. Every song opens at 0.1 seconds for the whole room, at the same second.
  3. 3Drag for more audio if you need it, then answer. Less audio pays more, and answering early adds a bonus.
  4. 4After 20 seconds the answer plays and the next song deals itself, ready or not. A wrong guess costs 500 and never ends the song.

Questions

Does Songless have multiplayer?

Yes, and this page is it. Up to 50 people hear the same 0.1-second clip at the same second and race to name it, with chat and reactions beside the board. Every other Songless page, ours or anyone else's, is a solo game.

How is Songless Multiplayer different from the solo game?

The solo game deals you 5 songs and you scrub as much audio as you like on your own clock. A room deals one song to everyone at once, gives 20 seconds, then plays the answer whether you had it or not. Same scoring curve, plus a speed bonus of up to 2,500 for answering early.

Is this the same as Songspot's multiplayer?

Yes. The multiplayer button on Songspot opens these same rooms, so a friend on the Songspot page lands in your room. This page is the rooms' own address, with no solo game in front of them.

Why is there no lobby in Songless Multiplayer?

Because the rounds run on the clock, not on a host. Every player's game works out the same song from the time itself, so a room is mid-song before anyone opens it and nobody has to be invited or waited for. Most song quizzes make one person create a room, share a code and pick the playlist; here that step does not exist.

How many people fit in a Songless room?

Up to 50 in a room. The list shows the rooms with players in them, busiest first, plus one that is open, so there is always a room to walk into.

Can I open my own Songless room for friends?

Yes. Press Create a game, pick your genres, artists or years, and share the room's link with Invite; friends land straight in the room, no code to type. The same settings always open the same room, so a group never splits.

How is Songless Multiplayer scored?

The solo curve: answer at 0.1 seconds and it pays 10,000, less the more audio you take, 500 off a wrong answer. The room adds a speed bonus of up to 2,500 for answering early.

Is Songless Multiplayer free, and do I need an account?

Free, no account. You get a display name you can change, and it runs in the browser on phones and laptops.

Which songs does Songless Multiplayer play?

The same 6,000-plus charting tracks as the solo game, 1980 to 2026. A room can play all of them or a slice by genre, artist or year.

Why did the song change before I answered in Songless Multiplayer?

The room runs on one clock: a 3-second count-in, 20 seconds to guess, a 7-second reveal, then the next song. An unanswered song is a miss; solve early and your reveal comes up at once.

More ways to play

Want a score against everyone else? Today's puzzle and the Global Gauntlet both put you on a leaderboard. More remakes: Bandle Unlimited, Krillion Unlimited, MapTap Unlimited, Poople Unlimited, Silverbrook and Songspot.

Rather play alone? Songless is the solo run on the scrubber, and Songspot plays the same pool in five fixed clip sizes.
