Silverbrook

A free leaf raking game like Leaf it Alone, in your browser.

A village under leaves

Autumn came and nobody raked. Dig it out, a handful at a time to begin with and a whole garden in one sweep by the end.

How it works

How it plays, and the questions people ask.

A first person leaf raking game. 7 walled yards under a whole autumn, and nothing to clear them with but your hands until you can afford better.

Questions

Is this Leaf it Alone?

No. Leaf it Alone is a paid download made by someone else, and Silverbrook is not affiliated with it. This is a different game built on the same idea: first person, one village, and a great many leaves.

Is there a free game like Leaf it Alone?

This is one. It runs in the browser with nothing to install and nothing to buy, and it keeps the part people play these games for: ground that visibly empties as you work it.

Can I play the leaf raking game on a phone?

Not yet. You look with the mouse and walk with WASD, so it needs a laptop or a desktop. Today's puzzle, the Global Gauntlet and every other remake play fine on a phone in the meantime.

How do the walls open?

Clear 90% of the yard you are standing in and its wall sinks into the ground. The next yard opens and you keep something for good: longer legs, a bigger sack, more coin a leaf, or a tool that reaches further.

Does my progress save?

Yes, on the device you played on, with no account and no sign-up. Come back later and the yards you cleared are still clear.
