Game Overview

Money Tycoon is a compact economy game over 30 days. Each day lasts 5 seconds. Finish with as much cash as possible.

The Passive tab buys businesses that earn every day. The Active tab upgrades click value. Good runs balance both.

Every run starts with $50. Some days boost passive income by 3x. You also get limited uses of Double Money and Half-Off Purchases. Final cash is your score.

How to Play

Press the money button to earn the current click value. Click value increases when you buy upgrades from the Active tab.

Use the Passive tab to buy businesses. Each card shows the next cost, how many you own, and how much one copy earns right now.

Every 5 copies of the same business gives that business type a permanent 1.25x milestone bonus. The bonus applies to every copy of that business.

The Passive income panel shows the next boost day. Double Money doubles your current cash once. Half-Off Purchases makes business and click-upgrade costs 50% cheaper for 3 days.

Strategies

Separate active and passive value. Click upgrades are strongest when you are actively pressing the button often. Businesses are strongest because they keep paying while you are shopping or waiting for the day timer. A good run usually needs both, but the split shop makes the tradeoff explicit.

Use milestones as clean targets. Because every fifth copy boosts all copies of that business type, stopping at four copies leaves value on the table. When you are close to a milestone, the fifth purchase can be better than opening a new business line, especially before a passive boost day.

Prepare for passive boost days, then let them work. Boost days multiply passive income, not click income. Buying more businesses before a known boost day increases the money that gets tripled. Click upgrades can still help you afford those purchases, but they are not directly multiplied by the boost.

Read the cards directly. Each business card shows what one copy earns right now. If that number rises after a milestone, the whole business type improved.
