Each round, step by step

  1. 1Land on a real 360° street somewhere on Earth. Look around, move down the block, and read the signs, plates and scenery for where you are.
  2. 2Open your free case for the round. It drops one of 15 hints across 5 rarity tiers, from a whole hemisphere up to your exact 5K coordinates.
  3. 3Drop your pin on the world map. The closer it lands to the real spot, the more of the round's 5,000 points you keep.
  4. 4Lock in before the 3-minute clock runs out. 5 rounds make a run, and you can start a fresh run whenever you like.

Is this the GeoGuessr with cases that ohnePixel played?

It is the same idea from those clips, made into a game you can play. The "GeoGuessr with cases" runs on ohnePixel's streams mixed street guessing with case openings, right down to hitting a 5K. CaseGuessr turns that into a free, unlimited game. It is independent and not affiliated with ohnePixel or GeoGuessr.

How is CaseGuessr different from GeoGuessr?

The guessing is the same: read a 360° street and pin your spot on the map. The twist is the case you open each round, which drops a hint. That makes CaseGuessr a case opening geography game as much as a street guesser. Some people call it GeoGuessr with crates.

What can you find inside a case?

15 hints across 5 rarity tiers. Common drops name your hemisphere or continent; rarer ones reveal a flag, a country, a coordinate band or a search circle; the gold 5K drop reveals your exact location. You get one case a round, and its hint counts for that round only.

How long is each round?

3 minutes. The clock starts when the street loads and keeps running while you open your case, so a case costs you time as well as a round. When it expires your placed pin is submitted, and no pin scores zero.

Is CaseGuessr free, and are the cases real?

Free, no download, no account, no daily limit. The cases are part of the game: they hold hints, not skins, have no monetary value, and cannot be bought. Progress is kept only while the page is open, so share your run before you leave.
